Every three year the professor Albert Soenen foundation awards a prize of 2.500,00 € for an outstanding dissertation at Ph. D. level, which advances the understanding of fruit growing or has the potential to bring innovation to fruit production by research in the field of agriculture, biology, applied biological sciences, molecular biology and related domains.
