Optimizing the cultivation technique at RNA 802 - Red Modoc®

Within this project we try to improve the cultivation techniques of RNA 802 – Red Modoc®. For this new variety adapted cultivation techniques are explored. In 2012 we have planted the first trees of RNA 802 – Red Modoc®at the Experimental Garden for Pome and Stone Fruits. 2018 was the first year that we had a good production. Optimizing the cultivation techniques (picking moment, fruit set, pollination and pruning) of this variety is the main focus of this project.
