Fire blight: the development of a control strategy to protect blossoms on apple and pear
Fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) is important for fruit production in Belgium. The aim of this project is the development of a control strategy to protect blossoms on apple and pear( primary or secondary blossoms) using biological control organisms (existing and new BCO’s) applied in the orchards by bumblebees.
