Research

The business unit "two" (toegepast wetenschappelijk onderzoek) or applied scientific research grew from the strong fundaments laid by 50 years of expertise at the Gorsem Research Station. Intensive gathering of knowledge through fundamental research projects allows us to develop striong solutions for problems confronting fruitgrowers now or in teh future. Four main area's of expertise (Ecology, mycology, pomology, zoology) form the backbone of the unit 'two'. Our close link with inhouse experimental gardens and extension services allow continuous transfer of knowledge to growers, while close collaboration with industry in product development gives us prime expertise in crop protection.
